2% Colloidal Oatmeal (Avena Sativa Kernel Flour). An FDA-approved skin protectant that locks in moisture and helps prevent dry skin. Oats temporarily protect and help relieve minor skin irritation and itching due to eczema. It restores the skin's pH balance, which keeps it from becoming irritated or drying out, has anti-fungal properties, and enhances the effectiveness of cleansers and moisturizers.
Key Ingredients
Oat Oil (Avena Sativa Kernel Oil) has a high concentration of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, lipids, and Vitamin E. In addition, it is moisturizing and nourishing; oat oil contains both oleic and linoleic acid, is an enriching emollient and has anti-inflammatory effects that will relieve dry, itchy skin.
Hyaluronic Acid is a molecule naturally found in your skin and the connective tissue in your body. HA moisturizes skin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, replenishes cell moisture, and speeds wound healing.
Glycerin works as a humectant attracting moisture from the air into the stratum corneum (top layer of skin). Due to its low molecular weight, it will continue to draw moisture to the deeper layers of the dermis.

I searched high and low, spending a lot of money on top brands and time looking for something to soothe my daughter's eczema-prone sensitive skin. It seemed like lotions would for a little while, then quit. Then I'd panic and have to reach for the hydrocortisone cream. I loathed using those steroids and bleach baths on her skin. But I did it. She would have enough relief to sleep for a night, but it would start all over again the next day.
Every three months, I'd ask myself, "Why am I spending $20+ on lotions and creams for eczema, and they are failing us?" She'd say her skin was itchy. Her skin surely didn't feel baby soft like a 2-year-old's skin should. It was red, irritated, bumpy, and sadly in some places cracking and, yes, bleeding.
Her doctor prescribed steroids and suggested she continually take allergy medicine. In my opinion, that’s no way to live, especially for a toddler. I started doing THE most, skipping baths, lukewarm baths, oatmeal on the bathtub, wet compressions for bedtime, and Vaseline sealing immediately after a bath. NOTHING WAS WORKING!
Well, this momma started researching, testing, and creating, and after months and months, OATS and ALOE Body Lotion was born. I kid you not - OVERNIGHT, we saw an improvement in the appearance of her skin, and it was consistent.
She is now able to take long bubble baths, play outside like a kid, go swimming, run around in the grass, and, guess what, no major flare-ups and no steroids! No more itchy skin, no more red blotchy spots on her elbows and ankles. NONE!
